Why Work with me?

Meet Amanda Kay MSN, CRNA

Hello everyone!

I have been a CRNA since 2017 and took the “scenic route” to get there. Here’s a quick synopsis of my career thus far:

  • Worked as an RN in Orthopedic trauma, Med-Surg Telemetry, Palliative Care, ER & Trauma Critical Care

  • Obtained CCRN, TNCC & CEN certifications

  • Barely passed the GRE

  • Obtained an MSN from Rhode Island College, St. Joseph’s School of Nurse Anesthesia

  • I work to the fullest extent of my CRNA license in hospitals, surgical-centers, Endoscopy centers, Plastics & Dental offices

  • Opened my own Anesthesia S-corporation & currently work 1099/independent contractor

  • Started mentoring & coaching aspiring CRNAs in 2020

  • I’m a mom to 2 boys & married my college sweetheart (& don’t ask how many pets we have)

I faced SO MANY challenges going through CRNA school (break-ups, broke, heartbroken, evictions, bullying...) and I don’t want anyone to feel that they are in this alone. I am committed to creating leaders at the head of the bed & lessening the struggle.
